Ported Saws... Lets see your work fellas

Taller, lighter and Single ring .. I used the windowed version to help feed my fingers. worked quite nice. Intake ended a little low once I got it dropped enough to make the compression I was looking for with my exhaust height..... Just playing around trying new stuff. Gotta keep it interesting...

I wouldn't say that.. but with the lower exhaust it will hold better rpm pulling a long bar. Will also handle a 8 pin better on shorter bars. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

Machine work done .040 out of the band netted us 98 125 82 ... I typically like these at 100 but we are going to fly with it. On to grinding. I definitely do not want to move the intake or exhaust. But we will widen and raise the uppers. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

    Y'all got an introduction thread?

Hey guys! For those that do not know me. My name is Gary! Saws are a full time gig of mine. I own Buxton Work Saws. It started as a small repair shop and chain sharpening business ran by my grandfather. I've pretty much transformed it into a performance business. Other than saws I enjoy Harleys...

Them numbers look perfect for a 361.. I'd say it's too lean .. like said above or you have a aftermarket carb issue. Some of them aftermarket carbs are real bad.. I've had them do simulator or you tighten the dang jets up tight and they are still fat... I'd say it's pretty safe to say it's not...

I doubt it unless you are passing up skirts or or have drastically changed the blow down or timing... I typically find if I have a running issue from porting I was trying something way out in left field I should not of been.

I was going to say if it’s the farmertec carb who knows... I’ve had my rounds with those. 44 carbs work good on those too but it’s some fiddling.
