Ported Saws... Lets see your work fellas

There was a bunch of fine sawdust and filter fuzz in the carb and crank case after only 1/2 tank run time since new, so that filter mod should really help it out.

I got the piston machined today

Is that pic above an optical illusion or was it machined with the piston off center. Looks heavy on one side and light on the other
 
The squish gets tight (.013) where the arrow points to that area sticking out a little out of round. Although I think my popup is the slightest bit off center side to side, so I'll shave off a little on the piston on that side.

I love the cobblestone technique on the intake, That would certainly cause a good air flow mixture, Is everyone doing this or is that something you came up with? Looks like a very nice job.
 
If anyone's in 025/ms250 stuff. It was my first clam I've dug into personally with a gridner. Nothing crazy just wanted a good bush beating slap it on my side by side saw

MS440 I just finished. The chain in the video is one I had been using for pine so it's a bit aggressive.
