    Carefully tap in the woodruff key.

    Lube up the crank adapter and install.

    Repeat on the PTO side. A regular seal driver works fine here.

    Then drive it in. I'm using a driver that I made so as to stop at the correct depth for the flywheel side.

    On to installing the crank seals. First add a little bit of grease.

    Attach the piston being both careful and observant of attaching the circlips.

    With a little two stroke oil for assembly lube.

    New connecting rod bearing.

    I like to put a couple of headless screws in for alignment while I am working with the cylinder.

    Cut the gasket sticking up with a razor blade.

    Confirm this is talking place by flicking the connecting rod until the crankshaft will roll back and forth on its own.

    Moving quickly after bolts are snugged up, I take a brass hammer and tap the crankshaft to alleviate any side loading of the bearings.

    Once heated, with gasket in place, I place the two halves together.

    Repeat with the PTO side case half.

    Once hot, then drop the crankshaft in and let set.

    Next, I heat up the flywheel side case half.

    First thing I microwaved the new bearings and slid them on the crankshaft.
