What a great new forum already, glad I took Buckin's advice and signed up.
I found my first big Mac at a garage sale for 50 bucks, a real nice original looking 1-50. The the motor was locked up solid, but after a good soak and a carb rebuild she fired right up. There is a bit of corrosion in the gas tank and I'm not sure about what is the best way to tackle it. If I remove the oil tank will I have access to the inside of the gas tank or just a bunch of bar oil all over my bench and no access?

Rare birdy I picked up a few weeks back...
McCulloch BP399T and my Super 797 right after I got it and installed the bar. Two of my favorites so far even though the 399T isn't a saw, yet
