    STIHL MS 181/C

The rod goes through the hole I believe and once the unit is assembles it is trapped in place.

    Homelite 33cc NO SPARK

If all parts are correct and attached properly- is the earth strap wire with the crimper on eye in place under the top bolt of the new coil and is the other end also attached with no breakages within the system?

I do not currently have any 181 or 180's here for demonstration purposes- but I find if I need to know a parts assembly order or configuration- looking up a model specific IPL is often a huge help. https://www.diyspareparts.com/parts/stihl/diagrams/ms181/b05e9033-14b2-4605-8d68/

    Husqvarna 2100 CD

So there was a waste of several posts on a thread. In the meanwhile- picked up another 2100 yesterday, this one was an XP later model- was braked at some stage but is just a bare clutch cover now with the brake attachments. It got new rings and main seals last night- and a bath.

Did you even look at my profile before answering- USPS do not deliver here and although not quite deserted- our entire wee group of Islands has less of a population than many of your cities- I have faux bought your suggestion before I took on your bet. Cannot be landed here for $20 of my dollars.

yep because thats your dollars- not 090- knock off 090 and add shipping and import taxes.

Honestly- without checking, I do not know if they ran the same carb- might have- might not have- a lot can be done with jet sizes to feed bigger engines and larger bore venturi to flow more air/fuel mix- but same carb body size and basic function- so they may well use the same kit. We don't...

Every online saw place in little old New Zealand sells RB 15 carb kits and Mac's were never that popular here.

Stihl MS361 Rebuild - Need advice on parts

The thing with going cheap on the bay is- they (the sellers) get the stuff from someone even cheaper and add a mark up. Little bit of google work and you can find the same stuff from the more original supplier cheap as the bay sellers get it. It is still mediocre quality at best- but cheaper...

    Husqvarna 2100 CD

I will take that bet- I am willing to bet where I live and in my dollars- there is no way in hell I can land an 090 muffler at my door for $20- from any Asian supplier. The louvre muffler on it will do just fine- still has a spark arrestor screen fitted and the carb still has a governor...

Not familiar with the 3.7 model, but played with a couple of 610's in my time. Zama C2 is correct for the carb and by my reckoning- repair kit- RB15.

Not locked- and yes you do, of the top of my head I am not sure how many- 5-10 posts before you are allowed the privilege of posting photos (if this is what you are meaning?) Just proves you are serious and not a robot.

    024 AV Stihl carb

Which carb is in your 024 now? Kit should be easily enough found- but a lot of people swear by a bath in an ultrasonic cleaner. We do not have E fuel here, so do not suffer many of the associated problems that seem to plague saw fuel systems in R fuel countries. I guess it depends on the rest...

    455 Rancher Ring Catch

Oh I agree- its odd and I do not deal with a lot of 4## saws- but this is the second one in fairly quick succession that died in similar circumstances. Thats why I asked if anyone else had seen similar and if it was a "common thing" for these.

    Old Husky 44 Leaks fuel

With the clutch cover removed- you will find these two screws (or similar) that hold the back of the wrap handle in place. Opening the gas cap and looking inside- you should see two raised and rib connected nipples- one close to and part off the tank wall- the lower one bridged and out on its...
