    Jonsered 2071 junkpile build

You're correct, it's a beat up 375k cylinder. The focus was to exclusively use what most would classify as not usable parts for this one for fun and the challenge. I wouldn't use any of this stuff on someone else's saw or one I intended to sell, just a fun project to see how far things can go...

    Husqvarna 66

Yes sir, lmk what you need. Not many plastics on these if that's what you need, mostly mechanical parts.

    Husqvarna 66

I'm about to part out a handful of 2 series stuff, there is a nice 268 open port p&c which is basically what you have. Believe there are also some 266 setups as well. A 268 closed port cylinder only also.

Ported Saws... Lets see your work fellas

Those were really good gains on the last one you dynoed, nice grinding as usual Joe.

    Husqvarna 562xp

Even that little bit of bending makes a big difference. Oof, yeah hopefully that'll clean up alright. You got options for thread repairs if needed.

Ported Saws... Lets see your work fellas

Follow my threads on here if you like that kind of stuff. I'll be posting all my porting and machining on here for all to see. The jonsered 2071 thread I started yesterday is a good one.

    General Question.

There have been several different manufacturers through the years with the craftsman name on them. The majority of them are poulan made. Husqvarna was never one of them unless you count the newer poulan stuff after husqvarna bought them out. If it's a magnesium cased saw it should be of good...

    2001 385xp rebuild

Real tygon is decent line, echo fuel and impulse line is the best IMO. 3x5 and 3x6 work for most things

    Custom exhaust tinkering

You get a better feel of what each saw will like the more saws you deal with. There is a point where it comes to just blowing fuel out the exhaust with no power gains, so be mindful of that. Just my personal experiences as I usually do things to have first-hand experience rather than what...

    Custom exhaust tinkering

I play with exhaust as often as possible, some saws like more than others is about the only helpful information I can offer. Which is about no help whatsoever.

    Jonsered 2071 junkpile build

Lots of pictures here to partially understand what's going on. It's a 575 stuffed crank to start off with, this is what many of this pictures are about is getting this crank in that saw and some of what is involved in that process. Also pictures of making a piston out of a scored 272 pistons for...

    Jonsered 2071 junkpile build

This thread is to follow along with this crusty old 2071 that came straight out of the junkpile. It was locked up, dirty, and tired. This build is going to focus on making a full custom worksaw. There is tons of work going into this one but little to no money as I will be using as few new parts...
