Just had a guy drop off (literally throw out whilst passing) a free saw.
"Here have this damn wee POS, I don't want to see it back...... EVER"
Husqvarna 36, I can understand the frustration- not the finest orange saw ever assembled.
But, it was all there and although filthy dirty- fired on some mix down the throat.
So I started with the usual frustrations- front of the piston looks good to be honest, lean cook up was my first suspect- back of the cylinder is scored up a little- so I guess its been eating fines.
Wonder what the carb screen looks like.......

No wonder it was not performing up to new saw standards!
