My answer would be yes, for a drive sprocket- should be pretty straight forward.
For spur drive, might be a bit harder to find a Homelite clutch bell?- I know GB out of Australia used to have them in stock.
Thx, found a 404 saw already set up.
Might try that first ! But still interested in how to change out .
if 60s donor 404 saw doesnt pan out.
Puttin an old winch saw mount together.
Might have more interesting questions for yall
The farther I get into the build.
Anyone on here have experiance with winch mounts ?
Only ones I have seen over here are "Lewis" chainsaw winches, or from bad to basic homemade copies of the Lewis winch.
Some photographs would be interesting.
Been some speculation trying to identify brand or origin of those winches. Was told second hand some loggers
In Seattle WA , they appear to be old lewis prototypes due to extra heavy weight and green color.
Made before the redish/orange lighter weight models of later years.
Anyone out there have any background info ?
Any help much appreciated.
