Stihl ms170 & 029 questions

I’ve got 2 stihl saws and really don’t need both, so I’ve decided to sell the 029 and fit the longest bar advisable on the 170.
So, my questions are, how much is the 029 worth, and, what is the longest bar recommended for the 170.

16"for the 170 although I'd stick with 14" max. I run a 12" on mine

Keep an eye on local marketplace and the bay of E type sales of 029's and compare their condition to your own saw- base a price off of that?

As for the 170- what @Chainmale suggests is the perfect reply and although they state 16" as max- the saw will not appreciate it.
