Review Question

Looking to purchase a new saw to semi retire a stihl 028 super wood boss.
Went to the stihl website and noticed a lot of negative reviews.

My question does anyone know what the requirements for posting a review on the sthilusa website?
Is there any way that you can know if the reviewers are actual owners of the saws that they are reviewing.

My still has been the best chain saw I have ever owned and it is hard to believe so many people are having issues.
I'm aware of the new starting procedure for the new saws.

That's a good question I have never done it. What were the complaints about, a 028?

Reviews on websites are opinions- opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one and they are all different.
They can be a helpful guideline, but they should be taken as that only, and your own opinion in the end, is the only one that matters.
You put a post up in a forum like this, suggesting the saw you own is the best saw you know, some will agree, some will disagree- all based on their own opinions of said saw. Some may have never used/worked on that model- but will still have an opinion.
Pretty much the same with online reviews. Take them with a grain of salt.

Are you looking to go bigger in displacement or stay around the same as your 028?
