Hi all
Quick question. Like a fool, I went to clean my 562XP yesterday and removed the clutch cover when the chain brake was engaged. It took me a minute to realize what I had done!
However, I was able to position the cover around the clutch, engage the brake and disengage it successfully. (YouTube trick showed me how).
My question is: Could this have caused any damage to the clutch? I'm mostly referring to the removal of the clutch cover. I didn't yank hard, but I kept wondering why it was tricky to remove.
I haven't run the saw since, everything spins freely and the chain brake still works.
Thanks
