Oleo mac gs650 cylinder replacement

Hi everybody,
Hope someone could assist me. I'm from south africa and have a client that needs a replacement cylinder kit on his oleo mac gs650 saw. Problem nr 1 is that the original part is too expensive for him and he has asked me to find a alternative part if at all possible. The exchange rate from us or UK really makes it a killer for us. Unfortunately after extensive web searches I can't seem to find anything. It shares a part Nr with the efco mt 6500 but still nothing. So I guess what I'm wanting to know is whether there even is a alternative brand or option for him or does he just dump the saw? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Short answer is no- the Asian copy cats do not seem to bother too much with Oleo Mac- so there is no cheap option.
Best option would be to try and find a broken saw of the same model in SA that has a good top end but maybe something else major broken so you can raid it for parts.
If you want cheap aftermarket top ends- you pretty much have to stick with the two main brand names of saw.
