Hi everyone,
I recently put a new carb on my 79cc Makita/Dolmar and the throttle cable is too tight. It holds the throttle open about halfway.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust it. It's a cable and retaining clip type.
I can put in pictures if needed?
Does anyone have this saw? or a 7300 or similar that can help?
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to participating in the forum.
Cheers

Meh, I'll bite the bullet and send it to the peoples, to get it figured out. Has been a workhorse saw up until now. 4yr old, a few simple mods but went toe to toe with a 661, 500i and new 592xp (3-4 big saws/ 2 climbers and 8 ground-staff for a long carry out out 35m+ 125feet? broad gum tree (I might have kept my first chain sharper for longer :D)
Got it here in Australia for $1350.. can't find them anymore here.
I've climbed with it, bucked, felled decent diameter trees etc
Same power or slightly lower stock (it's not stock) than a 572/462. But has goood torque. Although it's noticeably heavier
