MS180

[West Fork]

Been a while since I posted on here....

My dad's MS180 is useless at 9k in altitude. With no carb adjustments it doesn't have a chance. I'm betting the chainsaw loonys have come up with a fix for my problem.
Carburetor replacement? Is there any carb that bolts in without modification. Or what all is entailed if there is a carb that requires some mods?

Walbro WT-215 off the 021-025 can be made to fit.
Might have to customise the interior of the air box cover to fit- alter the throttle rod a little bit- drill access holes for the H screw and stuff like that- but it can be done fairly easily.
