McCullouch 610 TB throttle issue.

Hi all I’m having a issue with the throttle on my recently purchased McCullouch 610 Timber bear, as seen in the photos it doesn’t seem to want to sit where it should, it is also quite annoying to use like that, any help would be much appreciated. tia!

Not one of my favourite saws to work on- but my guess is the trigger spring is broken/missing- or part of the trigger that retains the spring is broken off.
Try a Google search for McCulloch 610-650 IPL (illustrated parts list) and it will show a detailed exploded views of all the saws parts, pull the rear handle of yours apart and see what does not look the same as the diagram.
