For sale is a Sabre (made by John Deere) 42 inch rider lawn mower. I believe the engine to be a Briggs and Stratton 15.5hp single. I’m selling this because I have too many other projects and could use the money more. I had to adjust the valves, but they might need further adjustment. Could use an oil change I’m sure. Runs pretty good for a few seconds with some gas down the carb. 3 carburetors will be included in this sale. The first is the one that came with it which needs to be cleaned or rebuilt. The second is a similar compatible one that needs to be rebuilt. The last one is a close, but not fully correct, Chinese knock off one. I installed a new genuine Briggs starter solenoid. Steering is messed up(1 bolt missing I think). With some work this could be a great mower. All tires hold air good. I’m looking to get $195 for it. Plenty of good parts if you want to go that route with it. Located in Lincoln County, WI.
