l used to buy Stihl... but I worked for a dealer. Since going back to self-employment (or self-unemployment as the case may be) I've been buying Echo. I don't think you can go far wrong with any of Stihl, Husqvarna, or Echo. But I don't know a lot about Husky.
Things I don't like about Stihl: The farshugena 1/4 turn gas and oil caps. Poor sealing on the air filter assembly. The "easy" adjust chain tensioner and/or ez-start on those models that have them.
Haven't found anything I don't like on Echo yet. They start easier than the Stihl (for me) once you learn the procedure. 5 year warranty for consumer use. Price, at least around here, is better.
