Is there a pop-up piston available for the 385 that you guys are aware of by chance? Additionally, the piston in my saw is a single ring, but all the OEM 54mm pistons I’m finding are 2 ring…think the extra drag will effect things much?
I only use one ring in a dual ring piston if it's a new kit.

Beyond my tool capability currently😆
Definitely understand buddy. Like I said earlier though, I'm here should you need any machining services. Kind of a specialty thing that most machine shops won't mess with.

On all rebuilds?
Small cc example, but a good one. Flat topped the piston, cut the chamber, decked cylinder, ported. Has one ring, that is original to the saw. Has zero runtime after work.

I guess I should have been more specific lol. I use both rings on stock saws LOL I will also use both rings on used cylinders because the plating is already worn to two, but I don't know if that really matters or not.

I’ll be taking you up on that, Labfab…would really like to get this 385 turned into a torque monster😈

Now THAT’s some compression😆

I may have gone overkill on this one... 55 Rancher, Hyway closed port top end, 028 Super piston...

I often omit the bottom ring as it gets in the way of my intake ports... Lol

My little old 026. Almost 3 year old build and it's my truck saw. Still blows 197...
