Homelite xl 2 carburetor

Does anyone know if they make a replacement carburetor for a xl 2 ? They saw has a walbro HDC 15 . installed a carb kit, very hard to start and when it does will not idle. It has a fixed high speed jet. Have taken carb apart a dozen times and driving me nuts. New carb kit and gasket fuel line, filter and duck bill. Has good compression. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have refreshed and squared away the carb to the best of your abilities- maybe the carb is not your issue.
First thing I would be doing is a pressure and vacuum test and checking for air leaks.
