Hi guys I am new here ..
I just need advice to buy a new gas Chainsaw..for home use ..
I currently have electric chainsaw with 15 bar ..but it not powerful enough..and I am tire to run the cord thru the yard ..
I was looking for Husqvarna 450,455 and 460 ..
But seems that 450 and 455 has a lot of issues leaking .. 460 looks much better reliability..
Also I was looking for Stihl MS 271 and MS 290 ..they seems alright ..
What are your advice? I just want 18 to 20 bar good chainsaw ...
Any thoughts ?

Welcome along. Not much traffic here- so maybe the advice will be a bit slim, but don't discount Echo in your possibles list.
They have some really good saws to fit your niche, as do Dolmar/Makita- but their production of gas powered saws is about to cease.
I am not real familiar with 4## Husqvarnas, but I believe there were early versions that had some problems and there are now mark 2 versions where the problems have been recognised and ironed out.

There are also some very good candidates for the 18-20 inch bar saws in the second hand market- but you need to be able to pick clean saws that are dependable from the junkers.

For a saw to run an 18-20 inch bar full time, 60cc would be my baseline- but it depends what you cut and now often. A 50-55cc saw will do it, it is just that those kinds of bar and chain ranges are in the top of their limits and they are perhaps happier in the 14-16 inch range.

If you haven't got a saw yet, I would look at an Echo 590, 600p or 620p, they are built like a pro saw and you could probable find a 620 for around the same price as the Husqvarna 460, I got a new one with a 20" pro bar last year for $520 shipped. If you can still get the MS440 and it's in good shape I would get it.

JMO if looking for new. Look at Echo's line up. Still regular carbs etc. 50cc look at 4910. Bigger look at 590. Be all you need. But for around 150 more you can get the 620.

Just the little 490 before the 4910. Echo's need a muffler mod.
590 I took in and redid.

Lot better then those plastic clamshell saws you asking about.
