My name is Steve and I am 77 years old as of April 29. I am trying to put a saw a Jonsered 365 chainsaw back together to give to my son in Oregon. I was more are less an infrequent user of a chainsaw. Mostly when I Elk hunted or camped in the mountains. I had to have a bunch of back surgeries over fthe last many years. I set the saw up until recently i decided to use it on a big cedar tree that blew over in a snow storm. It fired up on the 3 rd pull. I bought the saw new in 1986. Never have done anything to it. I noticed it had started leaking oil profusely and it was not getting oil to the chain. I took it completely apart and now i have a problem. The chain oiler is not a mechanical one like the ones i have replaced on a Husky Rancher 455.
Indo not even understand how it works it seems on engine impulse. I have no hose from the oil tank nothing except a screen in the back wall of oil tank and i think vent hole in the top. So i need information on how it works and what i need to put in this thing to make it work. Thanks for any help you can offer.
