I just aquired a homesite xl76 chainsaw. But it is so hard to pull. I took plug out and it pulled easily. Then I took off cranking case. Recoil pulled easily and could turn flywheel pretty easy too. But when put back together, so hard to pull. Can’t figure out why. Help

Do not know the model in person- but first thoughts would be main needle in the carb stuck open and allowing fuel to flood in- hydro locking.
Second would be if the oil pump is driven by crankcase pressure, damaged duckbill allowing oil from the tank to enter the crankcase.
Failing that, it could be timing issues, bad bearings........
