okay guys, crank seals. i tried the "plastic" blue seals. they went bad fast. seemed like they turned with the crank. tore them out. stay with oem seals? any luck out there with the blue seals?

What saw?
How were they fitted?

Any seal, OEM or aftermarket can be fitted incorrectly and fail near as soon as its fitted.
Pressure testing is your friend. Both before to confirm new seals needed and afterwards to ensure correct fitting.
VERY easy to dislodge the seals inner spring on fitting and without the spring in place, flailing about on the crank instead of adding pressure to the seal lip- the seal has failed from the get go.
