I've got an old John Deere 14 saw which is a rebranded Remington SL-9. I'm looking for a new chain bar and can't seem to find any cross reference to what fits. Any suggestions?

Pretty sure the Oregon tail mount for these is D096- fits some Remington, Jonsered, Homelite saws around up to 60cc size- chain pitch should be 3/8.
However, I am not 100% sure- you are talking about a saw as old as I am!
This is what I would be looking for- https://www.oregonproducts.com/en/o...,-0-050-gauge-3-8-in-,-60-drive-links/p/27853

Or keeping an eye out for old 16" 3/8 Homelite bars off scrapped saws.

Ok thanks for that. I pulled a dumb head move today and now am needing a Fairbank morse clutch for the damn thing too now. I had the sprocket drum off and decided to start it up and run it. Well naturally before she fully wound up the clutch mechanism flew to pieces and broke and scattered across the universe. I obviously didn't think that one through very well.

I don't suppose anyone knows if there are other clutch and drum mechanisms that would fit this saw?

Sorry- no, but even if I did the shipping from here to there would make it fairly unreasonable.
