Best 2stroke oil

Hello,
Looking to open a big ol can of worms.
What is the best 2 stroke oil for older chainsaws, let's say pre 2000.
I currently am running the Penzoil synthetic, and have used plain old Quaker State 2 stroke oil before that.
Can't say anything bad about either one, but, curious if maybe something better out there for my old Deeres.

Okey, I can try to get this trheed movin. Old and vintage saws, I would run castrol Go Full mineral oil 32/1.
on modern saws Amsoil Dominator at 32/1, that Will give good protection and a clean engine.

There are no really bad modern oils . Only improperly mixed to the saw tune & usage . Red Armor or Dominator are extremely fine oils for Commercial or Extreme use saws . Amsoil Saber is also a fine oil that allows flexibility of extreme ratio 's . Shell & Quaker State , Citco also make some very fine old school Dino Oil's . The saw tuning is paramount when e.g. you run an old Pioneer or Mac , John Deere . 16:1 ratio 50 yrs ago & 50:1 today . Different times & different oil technology brother !

You can mix 16 : 1 to 100 : 1 , still clean if you tune your saw properly to the mix with quality oil & gas brother !

Milling is the extreme within saw usage therefore 40:1 with Dominator or Interceptor or any other quality oil would be sufficient ! I ran Klotz Benol in an old MS-660 Milling for 10 yrs , decarbonized it every 100 hours & buck with it still today on occasion running Saber at 44:1 .
