540iXPt best bar and chain combo

I’ve become borderline obsessed with running narrow chains on top handle saws since I put a panther bar/chain on my 2511t.

I put a stihl 3/8 LP .043 PMM3 on my 193t.
I purchased some dukes full chisel 3/8LP .043 to try on 193t. And some dukes full chisel .325 .043 to try on my 540iXP.

I’m looking to learn about narrow kerf chains on top handle saws. Or really anything pertaining to this subject so hit with what knowledge or opinions you have.

I tried to go 3/8ths lp square on my 540ixp and hated it. The saw frequently engaged the built in battery overload and would come to a complete stop if I barely leaned on the saw in the cut. IMO the 540ixp is a prime candidate for a 1/4 pitch panther conversion.

Good to know, I ordered a 14” panther conversion for 1/4” .043 for the t540ixp. The chains are interchangeable and possibly the bar on my 2511ts so even if I don’t love it I’m only out the sprocket
