This 357xp was (is) the first chainsaw I built up from parts. Got the crankcase with scored piston, fuel tank and carb for $30, and cobbled the rest together myself with an OEM P&C. Today was the first chance to get it into some sizeable wood. Three tanks of fuel under it's belt. It ran awesome with the rebuilt Walbro H199 carburetor. Idled well, with snappy throttle response. I like this saw alot, and alot more now that I've seen it run so well.
I've got an old 257, and this goes to the next level...
Needless to say, I'm happy....

Not as clean as this at the moment..
