If you don't have fuel and oil it's the filters
Moving around
If you do have fuel and oil and no bar on it
It's probably the bar plate rattling.
There's nothing else I can think of
I have 8 365/372s
Conditions mean everything
In dirty/mud covered wood I can see getting
Little time on a sharpening.
When cutting otherwise you should be getting far longer use out of those chains
Maybe Pick up a Husqvarna roller file kit
That'll keep your teeth consistent
And you can dress the rakers as...
Stihl 261 carby I bought new
I used that saw 3 times in 9 years.
So I traded it for a
Yamaha big bear 400 an old fella cleaned snow from his driveway with.
Dolmar 115 I won in a raffle
A 028 super someone gave me
And a ported chusky 372 with a bb kit and a 272
Piston with pop up.
I gave these to my nephew he has 30 acre's
I cut all the hazard trees for him
He has thousands of pine the wind takes down often.
Jonsereds 920
It was one of my friends timber saws
After he passed away
His son gave it to me.
I rebuilt it and gave it to my niece's husband
He worked for the logger using this saw.
It'll set for months and start on the first pull most every time
That's a new 10mm total 24" bar
Just set...
2000 288xp lite
My brother bought new
He had his own timber business for 40 years.
This was his last saw when he retired
From logging he gave it to me.
A 272 is a 272 whether xp labeled or not.
They are 52mm closed port
Some had decompression buttons some did not.
The 268 could be had in closed or open port cylinders
Over time I've had many 272s with 268 or even 266 cylinders with the 266 intake tract
Where people had swapped them out
Over time.
He's the toughest old fella I know
He rolled his atv a few weeks ago
And broke some ribs.
He wouldn't go to the hospital
Because of covid.
So he had his daughter wrap his ribs tightly
Then not two days later
He was leaning against his house
As he push mowed the yard.
I moved here 8 years...
A member on another forum sent me this
Ms250
He wanted it to go to a veteran
So I rebuilt it last spring
And gave it to my neighbor
Paul he's 90
And a Korean war vet.
Since last spring he's on his second bar and third chain
And I had to replace both oil and fuel caps
He cuts fence line...
Alpina 60cc 600 professional black top
54cc 540i
Yellow top
I ran these clam shell saws in the 90s
Excellent performance equal
To any 60cc husky
But were dubbed alpenis
Locally because the coils failed
After a short time.
I always wanted the 70cc 700 professional
Very strong saws for...
I have 4 and would have him and Steve and dj port more
But what I have will last me my lifetime.
All excellent runner's
Randy did the 372s a 268 and a 272
And everyone who's ran them have tried to buy them from me.
