    Yup backwards. I’d pull the cylinder and replace piston and caber rings. Looks like that upper locator pin is already backed out some. Hopefully the jug isn’t damaged.

    To plug or not to plug…

    I’m in both camps too. Smaller saws I plug. Larger saws will depend on the work done. My 2094 needs it! 461 will pop the decomp with out firing so I plugged it. 660 has one but only gets used on cold start.

    Thank you bud. Was the second saw I ever ported. After I learned some things I came back to it and gave it some extra grinder love. It’s my go 2 saw now 28” bar for reference

    I used a hyway 395 pop up (tip I got from you)and sanded the cylinder spacer to give me .022” squish. Very happy with the results
