I got that screw on the handle out with a manual impact screwdriver that I just bought. The manual impact screwdriver is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made! Everything is all loosely goosey, but won’t totally come apart…
I’ve never used Kroil before. WD40 is good, but pretty basic and PBlaster works way better than it IMO. I know that Kroil is said to be the best thing ever and that it it around $22 compared to $4-9 for WD40 or PBlaster… I was looking for the opinions of Kroil users.
I recently scored this Stihl 020 AVP Professional for $35. Made in west Germany. Has compression but no spark. So I want to bake the ignition coil. I have to remove the recoil cover parts to access it. I only have 1 screw left to remove, but it is SO stuck. Still stuck after soaking with...
Chain is supposed to be S59, 3/8” low profile, .050”.
Here’s a picture of the old bar which is aftermarket and is not fitting exactly right. Something to die with the oiling and the hole that I circled. The new Oregon bars I looked at don’t even have that hole.
I’m somewhat new to the chainsaw world and have never replaced a bar and or chain before. My blue Homelite 150 is in need of a new bar. I’m wondering what the correct replacement bar is as I have no idea where to even start. I’m ready to learn though. I probably want to get an Oregon product as...
On the bench tonight is my Homelite EZ Automatic chainsaw. 2.5 months ago I diss assembled it to install a whole new throttle handle and did not completely reassemble it because I knew that the carb needed to be rebuilt so didn’t finish. Finally rebuilt the carb yesterday and am a little...
I sold the 310 this morning. So only the 3200 is available for sale. Lots of good parts. To be honest, I ended up spending $15 on a new choke lever for it and then it had more problems. Could still be fixed. Lots of good parts. $20.
For sale are 2 McCulloch chainsaws for parts. The McCulloch 310 smokes and needs cintrivical clutch work. The 310 has a case. The 3200‘s oil reservoir is homemade and not very good, no primer bulb. Lots of good parts like the case, recoils, clutch covers, 3200 carburetor works good. $30 for both...
HI. Sorry that I have to ask about a weed whacker on the saw forum, but no one else has been able to help me. I recently got this Crafits an 32cc 17 inch weed whacker for free. It runs good, but the line won’t come out of the head. I’ve read the manual and that didn’t help. The manual said that...

For sale is this Sears-Craftsman chainsaw that does run and cut. Comes with a nice case/bar cover and extra starter handle. Price is $40. Located in Lincoln County, Wisconsin.
I’m selling this Homelite Super 2 chainsaw because I have too many other projects. It has compression, but no spark. Comes with the case. For some reason they’re selling on eBay in this condition for parts/repair for $90+. I’ll sell it for $40! Located in Lincoln County, Wisconsin.
I only paid $4.375 for it. I got 8 saws for $35 in the deal. I have it listed now for $25. It does have the case. If no one buys it I can reduce the price.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, worn clutch spring and bad bearing were the 2 other things I heard in the YouTube video. I did not note the mixtures of the screws before adjusting. I did get it started back up, but it only ran for 5 seconds. I tried getting the one cover off so that I could access...
I have a McCullouch 310 chainsaw. I got it for next to nothing so want to fix it and then sell it. Or maybe I’ll end up selling it for parts/repair. Anyways, it runs fine, but the chain spins even at idle. I looked up some YouTube videos on why a chain would spin at idle and the first thing to...
