Made a short video of the dyno in operation. And the states getting it to where it is today.

Decent gains from this 550xpg. It's not always the peak gains. I try to broaden the powerband when I can, make a larger useable power range.

I'll be into another new one in the next week or so, I will post some dyno results.

Tune was turned up in the higher 2. Prolly would have liked even more rpm. No 2 runs are ever truly identical. But those 2 higher runs are only. 09 apart. I have been averaging runs a lot more to show a better picture.

Some like big, some double medium. And some like even bigger. Depends on the port arrangement and carb/filter. Lots of things at play for a given saw. 85% of the time 1/2-3/4" hole works well.

That is basically my setup. Just waste the water vs a tank. Most any pump will work as long as it handles the rpm. With a closed system heat and air in the fluid may cause repeatability issues

Yes 20g the mild steel snip great. The stainless take some effort and a good pair of cutters but still doable by hand.
