Thanks for the reply Bob, The sheath is still in the holder in the rear assembly, and at the carb side. I've tried taking it out of one, leaving other in but then it's too loose. Still stuck on this

Hi everyone, I recently put a new carb on my 79cc Makita/Dolmar and the throttle cable is too tight. It holds the throttle open about halfway. I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust it. It's a cable and retaining clip type. I can put in pictures if needed? Does anyone have this...
