Stihl 076AV not oiling

They were listed as original stihl parts.

The worm gear and shaft gears don't seem to mesh like I'd expect them too.

I'm gun-shy to install and trash them if they are not compatible.

I put the worm gear on a shaft and put in drill. Ran it against pump rod. Seems to mesh pretty well. Going to assemble and try it.

Did the gear come with seal fitted?
I usually grease the interior of the seal and oil the shaft before dropping them on.

I will do that, thanks for the tip.

I usually lube anything mechanical I assemble.

See the bronze bit? Get a magnifying glass and have a look at it- its porous and a bush not a bearing as such, you can pre soak them in oil to preload them before fitting.
