Seem to be fairly long sections- over here I would estimate most firewood to be cut in the 300-450mm range for length- you look to be out to 700mm ish?
How many years of growth to attain that diameter stem? They look like 10 year growth thinnings for us- the stuff we cut, peel and turn into fence posts, not yet dense enough for firewood really. Funny how trees perform differently in different parts of the World!
