Hey everyone, I recently received this saw from my grandpas estate. It looks to be brand new, although missing the muffler. I’m very curious of the year (which appears to be ‘77 from the only numbers I can see on the manual that would resemble a year. If anyone has any info on these saws that would be awesome! Thanks in advance

Hang on a minute- is that as new? Didn't have a wooden crate box it was sitting in did it?
Looks like it was never used.

Basically, from what little I know, they were made By PM Canadien- (Power Machinery Vancouver) and are the same as their 330 or 340.
67 or 69cc ish by some peoples reckoning- but Acres list them as 57cc- however, there may have been variations as some are known as Type 3, so guessing there was a Type 2 and Type 1?

Yes! Brand spanking new, never had a drop of gas in it. My dad found it in a storage locker that belonged to my grandparents. The odd part is that it was missing the muffler and, in the manual, my grandpa had marked off part 29 (which was the muffler assembly)so I’m not sure if it just never came with one and he was trying to replace it 🤔 I guess I will never know. It was in just a regular cardboard box from the factory at the time, and is a Type 3. Not sure what cc it is as there’s no indication. All the saws I have found that are the same model are the full yellow colour and don’t have the black top cover like this one
