I have an 042AV chainsaw with a 25" bar. It used to run well, with no problems and by and by, it started exhibiting signs of plugged jets. I tried to clean the walbro carb (WS3?) but ran into some difficulty and on the advice of an online chainsaw expert, I looked around for a walbro ws25 and found a brand new, old stock carb.
I put this on, but had no need for a saw as big and powerful as this is, so it sat on a shelf in my basement. The carb has never seen gas.
Fast forward some years and now I am older and downsizing. I don't need this saw - my MS311 and 250 handle any downed trees I encounter. (I am a homeowner, and I help out friends who have the occasional downed tree).
What is this saw worth? It is in good condition, and while obsolete, I do have some oem nos parts. Where do I go to sell an antique like this? (Yes I know there is a marketplace forum on this website.) Does anyone buy old saws like this?
