I have a Ryobi RY3818 chainsaw. I replace the chain and now I am having troubles getting the clutch cover back on. How do I get the clutch to open up so that the brake goes over the clutch?

The brake has been activated after the cover has been removed.
Grasp the cover firmly in the right hand- with your left hand pull the black plastic brake flag back towards you until you hear the mechanism click into place.
Place the cover back on the saw.
