Rancher 50

Picked up a nice wee saw yesterday- rather tidy example of the Husqvarna Rancher 50.

Not really something I would normally do- but I know a guy who wishes to own each of the saws that appeared in a Husqvarna advertising poster- where the white topped Rancher 50 is kind of centre shot and he has not been able to find one.



Its not perfect- but its all original, runs perfectly and will do him until he can find one better or dress this one back up.

Best of the lot- it was cheap as it was sold as a non runner.
This was all that was stopping it- not the best photo, but



Earth strap was contacting the centre electrode of a brand new Bosch plug- gapped the plug and it ran perfect.

I used to ride/race 2stroke dirt bikes. Bosch were so problem prone. And that was over 10 years ago when quality was probably better.

Yep- a LOT of people do NOT like Bosch- or Champion in small 2 strokes!

But I took this out of a "new to me" saw the other day
