My MAC 3516 starts relatively easy, but once it has warmed up, it acts up. It hesitates and/or dies out if I apply full throttle. If I keep the throttle at half, it will run fine for a while until it gets hot, then stalls out. Impossible to start when hot; has to cool down.

The L and H screws have stops that link to each other so I can only turn about a quarter turn each.

Is it running too rich or lean? What adjustments should I make? Do I need to clean out the carb? Help!!! Thanks.

Could possibly be nothing to do with fuel and be an electrical problem.
Coil could be breaking down, working at low temperatures and loosing electrical contact when heated.
