Husqvarna vs Stihl

If you are just going to put those two up against those two- then it comes down to personal preference and what feels nice in the hand.
They both make VERY good saws.
But you have to compare like to like. I mean you cannot put the like of a 562 up against a 500i and expect them to be even.
Which dealer is closest to you and you have a good working relationship with? Often that has a larger bearing on choice than the colour or manufacturer of the saw in question.

In my opinion they are both great saw makers and both have great models, and junk models. Personally, I prefer Stihl from years of working on them (in the past), I also dislike the outboard clutch and inboard chain tensioners on a lot of Husqvarnas.
