Emptyed fuel tank an removed carb when disconnected fuel line fuel stil pushed out as if pressure in tank is there suppose to be pressure in tank? Any ideas would be appreciated

Pressure in the tank is common, it's good to plug the fuel line with a drill bit or something to keep fuel from spraying out when working on it. Make sure the air filter is clean. Can you try tuning the carburetor? Watch a few different good rated videos on how to tune a chainsaw carb, and get the right specialty screwdriver to do it, and give that a try.

Is there any chance that bar & chain oil was put in the gas tank by accident? That will cause smoke and running issues, even for a while after rinsing the tank with gas, but it will get better.
