Have a saw that appears to have been smashed at some point in its life. One of the tabs on the exhaust port was completely broken off. Tried to use jb weld, but that didnt last too long. Did a little searching and couldnt find a good cyl. The only options i could think of was to swap everything to 395, or see if my cylinder would weld.
My cylinder walls looked good and the saw was running good. Brought it to a buddy who used over 100 inches of tig wire to build everything back up. Once the weld was higher than the face of the exhaust port we milled everything back flat. Then after a bit of filing and reshaping i now have something i can work with.
