Hey guys!
So, in watching YT saw videos, again, I have the bug to tinker with my new 372xt. I want to keep the OEM cylinder/piston for the time being, as it’s literally on it’s 3rd tank of fuel. What I would like to do, though, is; modify the air filter holder and intake boot/manifold by cutting out the partitions to get better air/fuel flow, and to increase the piston lubrication somewhat. I’ve already done a mild MM on the thing, and will likely do a base gasket delete…I’ll get the thing ported eventually, but for now, the above is the plan. Anyone who’s done this have results to share? Anything I should be looking out for? Should I blend the fresh air/fuel sections of the intake on the cylinder while I’m at it? Thanks much!!

I've seen people take the divider out of everything and run it that way so it blends the mixture together. And essentially deletes the fresh air charge.

Bad news is we lost a firefighter to cancer.
His family is trying to get fair market prices for his saws.
I think his 372 is an XT. I pulled the muffler and the cylinder is pristine. Then I tweaked the carb hmmmph might have been a XP.....dont remember. It started and ran good last spring.
Can you boys give me a fair market value?
Sorry to hear that, Brother😞❤️🙏🏼

Not really sure on a price-point…I’ve seen them go used for $300-$900. Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable Husky guys will chime in. Pictures showing the condition? Always sucks when one of the brothers goes down!😔

If it's as nice on the outside as the inside, you should be able to get 600-800 with a bar and chain. You use to be able to get them for mid/upper 800 out the door new but believe its upper 900 now.
