    My 7.3 is a 2000 Excursion grocery-getter. Wife likes a big truck to protect the 6 kids on the road. There are not a lot of options to seat 8 ... and all their stuff.

    500i standard version has weak dogs in my opinion, probably put there to save weight. There are a set of titanium dogs for the 500i available which fit the small clutch cover, keep weight to a minimum, look cool, but extend down further than OEM dogs. These allow use of the Stihl chain catcher...
