    OEM Carb off the younger brother, ms 381, bolts straight on. It's a compensated carb so it's best to use the 381 filter. I reckon it's better than the original Bing and I think kits for the Bing were hard to get

    So glad I got a 461 before they discontinued them in Oz. Add a Maxflow and Buckshot muffler from Rich Dougan and you have a darn fine saw

    Under 90 cc I remove decomps as they are just something else to leak and most do, a little bit. Over that size, 660, 395 etc I reckon the starter gear gets hit too hard without em. I tried my 084 without and the answer was... NAH, won't do that again

    I have one in good condition and like it a lot. Bolted a OEM 390 jug on it but swapped back to the original. Don't know why, it just sounded better!

    I have 2 084's as projects to rebuild that came with a spare flywheel and numerous odds and ends. Some of the fw's have dual key ways, one does not and my personal 84 has the single. Can anyone tell me what the deal is? Something to do with the coil I guess? Not expecting the dual kw I did not...
