No I haven’t replaced either of those until today. I went down to the hardware store to get a new nut. They didn’t have any “chainsaw”:nuts but I found one that fit plus it wasn’t as tall as the oem. So I also got a lock washer. Went home tore the saw apart and cleaned everything. Put it back...
Thanks, it is weird. Going to pick up a new nut this afternoon and see if that solves the problem. Hope it does because it will be a cheap fix. also will check everything out under the clutch cover. So hopefully I can solve the issue
while running my husky 440 the nut that holds the clutch cover in place keeps vibrating loose. I have to stop ever 5 minutes or so to tighten it back up or the chain falls off. If I tighten it down too tight then the chain can’t move.
