    gas tank clean-out

    Some bar oil ended up in the gas tank of my Stihl chainsaw. I already dumped the contents of the gas tank out. But I want to make sure that every speck of the bar oil is gone. What should I use to rinse out the tank? Would plain no-oil gasoline work, or something else? Thanks for your help.

    Gas tank venting

    I am do some maintenance on a 34-year old Stihl 011AVT. In replacing the gas tank vent rubber tubing (it had started to crumble apart), I found, inside the tubing, a very small fully threaded brass screw. Does anyone know what the screw is for? To my way of thinking, the screw would seem to...

    Stihl gas-to-oil mix?

    Hello- For the small Stihl 011AVT chainsaw, the owner's manual is rather ambiguous about the correct gas-to-oil-ration mix. It says, "50:1/40:1" What ratio do people on here recommend?
