Complete rebuild of 2 stroke for chain saw good spark good compression I believe good fuel...changed fuel filter and lines and put in new fuel. I get no response it is like there is a safety switch keeping it from firing...

First off- make and model?
Second off- explain complete rebuild?
Ryobi ry3714. Replaced. Ignition coil, carb, fuel & air filters, fuel lines, gaskets, spark plug, cylinder, stop switch, primer pump, new gas, new chain oil Have spark & compression and fuel. It feels like there is a safety switch stopping it from starting.

Then my first guess would be a massive air leak that took the cylinder out originally has not been corrected.
Or, straight gas took out the original cylinder and the subsequent heat created a main oil seal air leak.

Could have also possibly taken out the key on the flywheel if the saw was at full RPM when the original top end failed and locked up- now the timing is all to heck.
