That is what I am getting at, but the % I said were made up lol

Correction factor on the dyno refers to weather corrections I will have to check but all hp readings are calculated to the same "correction" which I believe is 70* temp and 50% humidity and 29.92" inch barometer. Has the elevation figured in as well. The weather station records all of that in...

Did you port both of those? Very hard to make statements about the "type" of power a saw puts out if they were built by different people. Some build for top end, some for low and others for the middle. Just depends what was asked of the builder.

That 4.3 ftlb is made at 11,900 Max tq is made closer to 8500 and is just at 5 ftlb. The stock 4ftlb is prolly made closer to 6000 rpm too. So in fact the ported saw makes more he all the way to 12,000 rpm than stock. Just pushed the peak tq rpm tight, thus pushing the max power higher...

That would be opposite of most 064/66 vs 395 The 395 puts out more down low torque the stihls better hp up top.

I can run that, I have a stock 241c here too. Believe I just swapped the stihl small spline onto it. Or ran the full 3/8 for a couple pulls. Don't remember which I did.

Should send one in for some pulls. See if you need to drop rakers a bit more ;)

Here is the full 064 graph. Which verifies peak tq in the 8500-9500 range. Right were it was full load with a big bar and sprocket. Fastest cutting speed has more to do with chain tune. This saw is more "high strung " than most being peak tq is up around the 9k mark vs the 5-7k of most other...

In the case if your 064 it kept gaining as the rpm went up. It was pig rich at 13k and by the time it finally cleaned up under load power was on the down slope. 14k is pretty common on 066/064 chassis. That saw wasn't at the high rpm for all but a split second before the load starts pulling it...

Video of the 881 in the first pic here. Handy little tool for port timing.
