I only cut for myself enjoyment. I MIGHT be talked into cutting for other peoples wood, but for now they only let me cut their trees if they need them down and I REFUSE to cut it if I don’t feel EXTREMELY confident in my skills. If I have to tie a line to it and winch it then so what. It’s down isn’t it. I’ve only done the felling wedges a few times, and when I did it worked as it should, but the person that I was with while I did it didn’t feel comfortable, but it went where he wanted it

Get you some Cherry and Sassafras and Apple. I've been wanting to try oak. Sugar maple seems good, but use just one tiny little piece because it is very strong, and let the meat rest, perhaps overnight to let the smoke flavor spread out.
